  5. WinRC is a free Resource-compiler for Visual Basic 4.0
  6. WinRC works in the Win95 environnement.

  8. What's new in this version :

  10. - Several bugs of older version are fixed.
  11. - Now WinRC creates Res-File in 16 bits or in 32 bits Mode.
  12. - WinRC accepts Bitmap, Icon, String and Wave resource.
  13. - The RC-file has the extension .WRC
  14.  
  15. WinRC is FreeWare and is freely distribuable.

  17. How to create a Res-File :
  18. - Select the tab of the Resource, click on the Add-Button
  19. - When you have added all the resource, save the WRC-file
  20. - Compile the Res-file in 16 bits or in 32 bits mode.
  21. - Add the Res-File to your Visual Basic Project
  22.  
  23. WARNING :
  24. If you want to modify the Res-File, close your Visual Basic
  25. application.
